How It Works
We will work with your ER to develop a workflow that your IT department feels comfortable with. Here is the prototypical workflow:

A triage nurse requests a consult from TelePIT via a nurse-facing workstation.

The consult request goes into the queue for the TelePIT providers who are covering your ER, who will also have access to your EMR tracking board.

The next available TelePIT provider will establish a video conference connection with the patient and evaluate them, stopping the door-to-doc time.

The TelePIT provider will place orders and take care of any essential communication.
Our Team
TelePIT was founded by a group of emergency physicians and emergency department leaders who understand the importance of improving departmental efficiency, appropriately triaging patients, and initiating testing and treatment early in a patient's ER course. By specializing in remote provider-in-triage, our goal is to overcome the limits of an on-site provider by providing services anywhere, anytime.
